The history of TILLIG Modellbahnen GmbH

Since 1994, the well-known model railroads in nominal size TT have been developed and produced in Sebnitz, among other places. At the beginning of the 1990s, the merger of several companies (Berliner TT Bahnen, etc.) resulted in the company TILLIG Modellbahnen GmbH & Co. KG. At the beginning of 2012, the company was renamed TLLIG Modellbahnen GmbH.

As the market leader in the nominal size TT, we offer the most extensive range of vehicles (Germany and Europe), different track systems (model and ballast track) and accessories, which is expanded annually with new developments. The range of rolling stock covers epochs I to VI.

Since 2001, TILLIG Modellbahnen also offers model railroads in the nominal size H0. These originate from the takeover of Sachsenmodelle from Zittau. The nominal size H0 includes an attractive range of vehicles, in which more and more new developments find their place. The H0 ELITE track system, which is considered one of the best and most prototypical track systems ("closest to the original"), is also known worldwide.

In the meantime, we can also offer a large number of DR and HSB models in the narrow gauge nominal sizes H0m and H0e. With the reintegration of the narrow gauge range from 2012, the range of narrow gauge models was significantly expanded, in particular through complete new developments.

In addition, we also provide our customers with the only mass-produced streetcar track system that can be used to further enhance model railroad layouts. This track system has been completely revised in terms of printing (cobblestone or asphalt look) and thus offers another highlight on every model railroad layout.
