Unique editions 2026
Again this year, we have planned various limited editions, which will be produced according to the incoming pre-orders.
Please remember to place your orders with your specialist retailer by March 31, 2026, so you don’t miss out on your desired models. Unfortunately, pre-orders cannot be placed through the TILLIG online shop; please send your pre-order by email to vertrieb@tillig.com instead.
As in previous years, production of each individual item will only take place if a sufficient number of orders is received.

The history of TILLIG Modellbahnen GmbH
Since 1994, the well-known model railroads in nominal size TT have been developed and produced in Sebnitz, among other places. At the beginning of the 1990s, the merger of several companies (Berliner TT Bahnen, etc.) resulted in the company TILLIG Modellbahnen GmbH & Co. KG. At the beginning of 2012, the company was renamed TLLIG Modellbahnen GmbH.
As the market leader in the nominal size TT, we offer the most extensive range of vehicles (Germany and Europe), different track systems (model and ballast track) and accessories, which is expanded annually with new developments. The range of rolling stock covers epochs I to VI.
Since 2001, TILLIG Modellbahnen also offers model railroads in the nominal size H0. These originate from the takeover of Sachsenmodelle from Zittau. The nominal size H0 includes an attractive range of vehicles, in which more and more new developments find their place. The H0 ELITE track system, which is considered one of the best and most prototypical track systems ("closest to the original"), is also known worldwide.
In the meantime, we can also offer a large number of DR and HSB models in the narrow gauge nominal sizes H0m and H0e. With the reintegration of the narrow gauge range from 2012, the range of narrow gauge models was significantly expanded, in particular through complete new developments.
In addition, we also provide our customers with the only mass-produced streetcar track system that can be used to further enhance model railroad layouts. This track system has been completely revised in terms of printing (cobblestone or asphalt look) and thus offers another highlight on every model railroad layout.

Precision, attention to detail and reliability. These are the outstanding features of our products. We do of course subject our work to the highest demands in all our manufacturing steps to achieve this goal.
Design:
Many years of experience of our designers, modern CAD systems and a constant search for innovations: The „foundation stone” for a successful TILLIG model is laid here. All TILLIG models emerge in the construction.
Tool construction:
High attention to detail, the finest engravings on the models, tolerances down to a hundredth of millimeter. State of the art technology is available to our specialists in the tool construction sector to this end.
Plastic injection moulding plant:
Automated injection moulding machines guarantee a highly productive output of injection moulded parts. The ideal settings and constant monitoring of the injection moulding parameters (temperature, pressure, the cooling period etc) is imperative to ensure the quality of the plastic parts.
Pre-press:
The templates for the lacquering and printing on the PC are produced following the most precise research of the decoration of the original.
UV-printer:
Printing with a UV printer delivers brilliant results with the highest
resolution and color depth.
Paintshop and printing shop:
The models are painted with a hand spray gun. Great experience is essential here to ensure the paint is applied evenly. High definition printing of our models is made possible by pad printing, often smallest inscriptions can only be read under a loupe.
Track construction:
Track construction requires a great deal of precision and care. Track profiles are cut to size, and bending machines are used to bend or mill them to specified radii. Rail fasteners are fitted and spot-welded to the track profile. Additionally, adjustment sleepers and wheel guides must be installed. To ensure electrical contact, current bridges are inserted and welded in place. The ‘blanking’ process – the grinding of the top of the rails – is also carried out here.
Final assembly:
Both the construction of the structure and the assembly of the models is performed almost exclusively by hand. Patience and dexterity are called for here. Our assembly employees always master this with a great deal of painstaking attention to detail.
Packaging:
In the set-packing department, items consisting of several individual models and components, such as tracks, are packaged into complete sets. A starter set includes not only models such as locomotives and individual carriages, but also additional accessories such as speed controllers, tracks, etc. Information leaflets and instruction manuals are also included.
